Just back from telling Strange Tales from the Darker Side at the Potteries Museum at Stoke-on-Trent. It’s an amazing venue – I need to go back there to explore more of the museum’s exhibits – with a wonderful theatre. A really incredible audience, too – I’d like to take them with me everywhere!
Month: January 2017
Strange Tales Visits The Potteries
Just a week away from the first performance of Strange Tales from the Darker Side for 2017. The venue is the theatre at the Potteries Museum at Stoke – a fine setting for my collection of weird and wonderful magic. Tickets available direct from the museum and a snip at £8 each and just £6 for the usual concessions.
With James Watt On BBC Radio Stoke
I will be on James Watt’s afternoon show on BBC Radio Stoke at around 3.30 today, chatting ahead of a performance of Strange Tales from the Darker Side at the Potteries Museum on Friday 20th January. More details from the museum’s website by clicking HERE and you can listen live to Radio Stoke by following THIS link.
First Magic Lecture of 2017
Off to Brafield on the Green today for my first magic lecture of 2017 and very much looking forward to meeting members of the Northamptonshire Magicians Club tonight. With so few magicians in my part of South Wales it is always great to have the chance to meet up with and talk to other members of the conjuring community.
2017 – Year of Legends
A warm welcome to 2017 – designated as our “Year of Legends” and a wonderful opportunity to tell our country’s stories. And that’s what I do. Whether it is the stuff of ancient legends, true stories from the past or slices of modern history I have a host of tales to tell – and I am really looking forward to what promises to be a fascinating year of storytelling.
