Outside Gates

Many thank to a Philippa D for her review of the Creepy Carmarthen Tour just added to the Tripadvisor website: This was a fascinating and most enjoyable trip around Carmarthen’s history by a terrific storyteller.  It’s an experience that can be enjoyed by all ages and reminds you that there is nothing like live and inspired storytelling to uplift the spirits and transport the soul…Highly recommended.  The next tour is this Wednesday night at 7 – bookings to 07752 438901.

Seriously fun and perfect summer holiday fare says Ann Treneman, outlining her “Top Theatre Picks” in the Times this weekend.  Precious few tickets left for “The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole” before the end of the run at the Menier Chocolate Factory next month.  Get them while you can!!

Bosworth Day In Carmarthen

Great to be part of “Bosworth Day” at St Peter’s in Carmarthen today, marking the anniversary of the battle where local hero Sir Rhys ap Thomas killed King Richard III.  Two great sessions of storytelling in the pews with very appreciative audiences detailing the lead-up to the battle, the conflict and its aftermath.  Will I come back next year, I was asked?  Delighted to.
